This Quiz is open to students in Year 4 and Year 5 and it is voluntary. It can be done using the school tablet or any other device convenient for the students. The results will not be used for anything but for students to self-assess their own progress. Prizes will be available for the first five winners in Year 4 and first five winners in Year 5. That is why it is crucial that participating students write their full name, college and school e.g. Tom Smith GC Nadur.
The quiz will start off by students filling in a form with their personal details. Then they will be given a code which they need to use to log in to the quiz. The quiz itself is divided into 2 parts. The first part is based on 5 categories, one for each subject, namely English, Maths, Malti and Science (all examinable subjects). Students have to answer 10 questions and try to do so as quickly as possible. The quicker they answer, the more points they earn! In the second part of the quiz, more challenging questions are asked based on English and Maltese Literature as well as science. These questions too are timed. Remember, the aim of the quiz is to help students revise and so, it’s important that they take note of the correct answers shown.
The Quiz will take place on the last day of school: Friday 26th June 2020 and it should take roughly 30 minutes to complete. Students can access the quiz on the day by clicking on this tab:
Students can try out the quiz more than once, however, only the first try will be considered for the purposes of the competition. The quiz will be open on Friday 26th June 2020 between 8.30 am and 12.30. Final results of the first five winners in Year 4 and first five winners in Year 5 will be available after 12.30.
